Analysis of Tone in Articles

The article about eggs, titled, “Why The U.S. Chills Its Eggs And Most Of The World Doesn’t”, was written in a way that made it easy to understand what the author’s point is. “Introduction”, the spoon article was the better of the two. The author took a simple technology, the spoon, and made a thorough argument for the advance of cooking. The article shows how the simple cooking utensil has been influenced by culture, needs and advancements in other technology. The way the author connects the wooden spoon to so many other advancements is thought provoking; causing the reader to wonder how advanced other things, that at first seem simple, really are. The author clearly argues that without the spoon, despite its simplicity, and other kitchen utensils, food would not be the same.
