The Industry of Vending Machines

Atkins, Ian. “Where to Find Vending Machines for Sale.” Fit Small Business, 7 July 2016, http://www.fitsmallbusiness.com/find-vending-machines-for-sale/. Accessed 28 Nov. 2016.

This extensive article gives a great intro into the vending machine industry. It discusses the size, the different parts of its and the different types of companies involved. The article also discusses the most common products sold in the most common styles of machines and the regulations government has on the machines.

Ian Atkins is an experience analyst for personal finances in small businesses. His argument is that there are vending machines that can be successful for almost anyone is backed up by descriptions of the many suppliers of countless types of vending machines that can be equipped to sell anything. He suggests that a machine doing poorly is in the wrong location and reminds people to consider the ADA regulations for vending machines.

This article taught me a lot about the ins and outs of the vending machine industry including its grandiose size and wide variety. The NAMA source for industry size looks to be quite helpful for the paper.
